Tommy returned to the top of the table, making the podium in second place after Josh Brookes was forced to retire. Tommy said, "I am pleased to have been back on the podium again as it has been an up and down weekend for me, so three podiums from three races is a good result. I didn't have a particularly good start, but again I clawed them back in and I had Alastair and James ahead of me. I saw Alastair tuck the front and them both crash out but I knew I had to keep focused and get my head down. I felt comfortable and the team have worked hard to put me here this weekend after we had some issues early on, but it is fantastic for me and that is what we are here for. It means I also have the championship lead coming into my home round!"
