Springfield match report - 17 April 2011

Yesterday's match saw Springfield face Great Danes at home on a less than perfect pitch! Springfield took the lead early on and continued to dominate the game, despite a spirited effort from the Great Danes' keeper, making a string of top class saves. Standout performances from the Springfield strike force put the game beyond Great Danes in the first half and with the continued pressure on the Danes back four throughout the second half, it ensured a decisive win of 11-1. The win has kept the boys in 3rd place overall for this season and with only 3 games left to play we are confident the U’11’s will finish in the top 4 for 2011.
