Solid performance for GBmoto Racing at Snetterton
The Global Reach Partners' sponsored team put in a solid display that saw Tristan Palmer finishing fifth. The team were outpaced by the BMWs and Kawasakis on the track. The second qualifying session was dominated by Richard Cooper's BMW. The teams' performance times were still impressive, with Tristan cutting half a second from his earlier time to sit fifth on the grid. David johnson was also pleased with his performance:
"I was more aggressive than usual at the start, but still not enough. I was pushed wide in the first corner and lost some time. Once I put my head down, I was making good progress towards the group in front and the gap was coming down. However, racing by myself, without a tow, I couldn't quite bridge it. I had a safe gap behind, so in the last two laps I just brought it home safely. I'm really pleased with not just eighth, but a really competitive eighth. Thanks to everyone on my side of the garage for a great weekend."
