Macmillan coffee morning - 9 October 2009

Following the successful Jeans for Genes day last Friday (2 October 2009), this Friday sees the company raising money for the cancer support charity, Macmillan. For a donation, members of staff will receive tea/coffee and a biscuit! Global Reach will be one of thousands of companies and groups across the country, holding or attending coffee mornings to raise money for people affected by cancer. The funds raised will go towards providing support to cancer patients. Services include the information support centres and helplines as well as the nurses working in the community. Stewart Blake, CEO commented, "Many of our staff have been affected by cancer at some point in their lives, whether it's a relative or friend who has been diagnosed. We are 100% behind raising money that goes towards supporting these people and others across the UK."
