Crunch Time for Tommy Hill at Silverstone
This weekend (23-25 September) Tommy Hill will be racing the penultimate round of the showdown at Silverstone where he hopes to put some pressure on the title fighter John Hopkins who is just 3 points ahead.
Hill led the title fight into the first Showdown round at Donington Park, but as Hopkins took a double victory he dropped three points behind his American rival despite a double podium finish with a second and third place.
Hill said: "I am ready for Silverstone and the next two races; coming from a consistent last round at Donington Park I want to go better again this weekend. The points and two podiums were important there for the championship but at this point of the season we need to be winning and staying ahead of the other Title Fighters
"It is important now that we step up the game again and move forward to try and takes those two wins. If anything, finishing second at the last round has made me even hungrier for wins at Silverstone."
Global Reach Partners wish Tommy the best of luck at Silverstone this weekend and hope he can regain top of the podium and put him in a fantastic position to win the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship.
