A couple of hard fought races for Tommy Hill this weekend.
Tommy Hill managed to grind out some good results at Silverstone last weekend finishing third in the first race and second in the second race. However everything did not go to plan for the Hill camp as the title rival John Hopkins increased the lead for the championship to 8 points.
The first race ended with Tommy Hill in third place his Swan Yamaha team mate in second and the championship leader John Hopkins finishing in first place putting Tommy Hill under pressure to perform in the second race. The second race of the day ended well for Tommy who took second place on the podium just behind the race winner Josh Brookes but most importantly ahead of John Hopkins in third place to keep himself in real contention of winning the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. Tommy is only 8 points behind the leader Hopkins with the showdown to be decided at Brands Hatch on the 7th to the 9th of October.
Global Reach Partners wish Tommy the best and hopes he brings the bacon home.
