As a Senior Commercial Dealer, I look after a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. I am delivering strategies for each of these clients which means I get an understanding of how their business works and deliver solutions to match. Opportunities to develop and learn are an important part of developing your career here. I have recently studied and passed professional qualifications.
My role sees me interacting with most people across the business. I work with many of the teams, from Sales and Marketing to Settlements. I oversee and implement processes that ensure that we operate in a manner that puts the client first. At the same time, there is a great focus on personal development, which means I have a plan to help with my progression.
There’s never a dull or quiet moment here! I’m in the thick of things and work really closely with the Senior Commercial Dealers. I am pleased that my role has recently been developed to be customer-facing too, which involves going to see clients to discuss strategy and how our systems can be developed to support them.
I’ve worked here for over two years and started off as a junior salesman and worked towards promotion. There is a clear training plan for the sales team and lots of beneficial training on sales techniques, the markets and our products and services. There’s always a lot going on socially and we make sure that we all get out together at least once a month! I’m part of the Global Reach football team too, which has been really successful, winning the 2010 league.
I’ve been here from the start of the company and have seen it develop from a small team to the fantastic larger team we have today. Our focus on growth and our achievements have been phenomenal and I’m proud that I have been a part of it.
